From now on, we’ll be posting regular updates to the blog whenever we make changes to the site. We try to release fixes and feature enhancements about every two weeks. We’ll call these out as “Release (date)” based on the date these changes appeared on the site.

Here’s a list of what was in our latest release:

Search improvements:

o Fixes made to the advanced search

o Fixed “most recent” sort on Browse and Portfolio pages

o General alignment and spacing fixes

o Roll over tool tips providing definitions of the sort and filter navigation

Purchase issues:

o Fixed credit card expiration dates drop down

o Fixed billing information pop-in window

o User loses their place in search results when adding an image to their cart, now clicking ‘continue’ takes user back to the search results page you were on previously.

We’ll post another update in a few weeks.

Great to have those updates.
But I think a lot of us are still waiting to see when there is going to be an improvement on the upload methode.

Can you shed some light on that.

Did you guys add a timeout into the upload session? The timeout is virtually insane, you can hardly get any keywording done without the session timing out and all the work being lost. and if you delete a file, it refreshes the screen and wipes out the keywording that was done on other images on that page.

Ditto on the timeout. Please, please fix that!

Please concentrate on improving the upload method:

1. Get the FTP working already. You can’t compete with the other stock sites with the current method.

2. Read IPTC data from thumbnails for vectors. I don’t want to copy and paste from somewhere.

3. Disable time out. I want to be logged on continuously.

When will ftp upload start? SY

Sorry, no FTP, no timeout fix = no more uploads from me.
