New and Improved Account Registration September 12, 2007

In addition to releasing IPTC/XMP metadata support last week, which many users have written to us to say they are really pleased with, we have significantly improved the account creation and registration workflow. We had heard from users that they had never received the account activation email, which of course meant that they could not activate their accounts and use the full functionality of SnapVillage!

We have now changed the workflow so that an email-based activation is no longer necessary. Users can now register and activate their accounts in one easy step rather than checking email and clicking back to SnapVillage. Registration is now a snap!

Thanks for your ongoing suggestions and comments — we appreciate your input!

See you around SnapVillage.

I am sure you will be much more popular with contributors when there is an improved watermark. Hope it will be sorted out soon.

Good news on the watermark. Only thing holding me and a lot of others back now is FTP uploading.

Finlayson, Turn your firewall and virus protection back on; it’s Snapvillage, not your computer. Someone said uploading was working again. I managed to upload all of 5 photos yesterday, then the same old same old again. Give them more time, probably until they get FTP. Their web upload is full of bugs.

hello all, I am running Mac OSX 10.4.10 with Firefox, Safari and IE, and i can not upload any photos. The button is dissabled.

Any suggestions?
