Service Disruption Update June 27, 2007

The good news is that word of SnapVillage’s launch has made its way across the pond. The not so good news is that the resulting flood of traffic and image submissions caused the site go offline for a bit this morning (PDT). We’ve got the issue resolved and the site is once again fully operational. We hope the disruption didn’t cause too much of an inconvenience – our apologies if it did.

So now that the site’s back online, is there an ETA on when submissions will be approved?

Is there a place to report problems?

Right now I got “DB Error: – Transaction (Process ID 69) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.” when I am trying to submit image details to new images.

I was just wondering the same.

Why do we have to wait over a week for images to be approved? Why can’t i make updates now to my images? I want to submit more images but at this time i’m not really happy with the lack of service to get my current images approved and viewable online.
